But other retailers, like Amazon, are ready to offer the smartphone for a lot less. Amazon is going to sell the Pixi for just $25 but you will still have to get a new contract from Sprint.

So should you buy the Pixi now? Why not wait a while as I am sure the phone will be available for free on contract real soon. After all there are hotter phones out there worth purchasing with new contracts like the HTC Hero, the Motorola Droid, the BlackBerry Storm2, the HTC Droid Eris or the Samsung Behold II.
